RSM Fuel Services is a rapidly growing national business operating across engineering services, specialist tanker services, confined space operations, environmental services, and critical infrastructure support.

As our operations continue to expand nationwide, we are looking for an experienced and driven Operations, Compliance & HSEQ Manager to take ownership of health & safety, compliance, operational oversight, and workforce competence across multiple divisions.

Role & Responsibilities.

The Operations, Compliance & HSEQ Manager will be responsible for overseeing company-wide Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality (HSEQ), compliance systems, operational standards, and workforce competency management.

This is a hands-on role combining office-based leadership with regular nationwide site visits, audits, and operational support.

You will play a key role in ensuring the business remains fully compliant with all statutory, client, and accreditation requirements while continuously improving systems, standards, and operational performance.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience.

Essential

Previous experience in HSEQ, Compliance, Operations Management, or a similar role

Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and operational compliance

Experience managing accreditations such as CHAS, SafeContractor, OFTEC, and ISO readiness

Excellent organisational and leadership skills

Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and reporting skills

Comfortable carrying out site inspections and working closely with field teams

Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

Experience within fuel, engineering, environmental, utilities, or infrastructure sectors

Experience managing multi-site operations

NEBOSH or IOSH qualification

Experience working with subcontractors and external auditors
